Mr. Harvey was raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor's
of Science degree in history and a Masters of Business Administration degree. He received his Juris
Doctorate degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1995 along with a Certificate of
Specialization in the area of litigation.
At Golden Gate University, Mr. Harvey was a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association (now
known as the American Association for Justice) Mock Trial Team. As a trial team member, he competed
in various national mock trial competitions. In 1995, he was awarded the Golden Gate University School
of Law Outstanding Achievement Award for Civil Litigation.
Before attending law school, Mr. Harvey was the Director of Inventory Management with The Gap, Inc.,
at their corporate offices in San Francisco, California. After graduating from law school, Mr. Harvey was
a Judicial Extern at the San Mateo County Superior Court, working for the Honorable Harlan K. Veal
(now retired) in the Law and Motion Department.
Mr. Harvey joined The Goldman Law Firm in 1997 as an associate, and became a partner in 2004. Since
1997, he has worked hard in developing his legal practice in the areas of civil litigation, employment law,
medical malpractice defense, and dental malpractice defense. He has successfully represented clients
before the California Medical Board, California Dental Board, and California Labor Board, as well as
before the Superior Courts of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Francisco, San
Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and Sonoma Counties.
